William Windham
William is a Project Development Manager with experience in the management of new rail infrastructure programmes, industrial projects and engineering innovation. He is a professional engineer with management, economics and business studies training, and has had experience of working on DLR, LUL, Network Rail, Crossrail and in the manufacturing and security sectors. He also has experience of working in small organisations including involvement in the start-up and management of an engineering design and manufacturing consultancy.
On major projects his experience has included systems integration and commissioning, track inspection improvements, reliability enhancements and asset monitoring. He has worked in the Equality field on the Crossrail Equality Impact Assessment. He has undertaken assignments as an Assessment Auditor for ISO 9001/2 certification in Electronic and Security Systems with Det Norske Veritas Quality Assurance, and has completed the Internal Auditor training at Network Rail. In training and competency assessment he holds the 'Train the Trainer' City & Guilds 7307, and has designed and coordinated new training courses for Track Inspection Engineers at Network Rail.
