Shar provides coordination of NOMIS assignments
and design and delivery of inclusive events.
This has included the production of the Crossrail
Race and Equality Impact Assessments, TfL's
Age Positive Equality Scheme and Equality Impact Assessments on West
London Trams, London Underground's PPP Investment Programme, the East
London Line Project and an EqIA Manager's Guide.
Other highlights included the design and delivery of the first consultation events in the transport industry for equality target groups as well as events with children and younger people and older people seeking their views on London's transport system.
Key activities include analysis of comment from consultation events such as that for TfL's Age Positive Equality Scheme and Gender Equality Scheme and she managed a research study into examples of 'Positive Action' for under represented groups in the workplace.
Shar designed and managed the delivery of a national conference on EqIA in conjunction with the DfT and TfL and is responsible for the design and delivery of an EqIA Public Sector Round Table being convened in 2008.
Shar has responsibility for the design and update of the NOMIS website and is integral in the development of an online EqIA system.
