Peter Fry - Parliamentary Secretary
Peter's background is in the area of policy making for engineering projects, first with the Institution of Civil Engineers and then with Crossrail as public information sheets were drafted, circulated for comment and then published. He has followed through on the development of the system by being in sole charge during the hearings of the select committee.
Peter was instrumental in bringing forward the Crossrail Parliamentary Support System for the presentation of material for the Crossrail Bill select committees. The system was developed from the one used by Union Railways for the House of Lords select committee on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link Bill. This system required considerable upgrading (it had been built in 1995) for the Crossrail committees. Peter worked with the system designers to improve the functionality of the system and incorporate new computer architecture.
Will Orlik - Parliamentary Exhibit Production & Presentation Manager
Will is a computer graphic artist who has applied his skill to the presentation of images for the build up to the parliamentary Bill submission and the images used during the select committee hearings. He was involved with the capture of images for the CTRL parliamentary support system.
The further development of the parliamentary support system for Crossrail has involved Will's expertise to ensure the correct documentation and classification of ingested material for instantaneous use by the operator of the system in front of the select committee.
