CONSENTS
NOMIS have joined the TfL Oversight team to provide expertise
in reviewing the Major Projects portfolio with regard to consents, equality
and consultation.
EQUALITY
NOMIS are hosting a series of public sector Round Table
events in 2008 to provide a platform for practitioners in equality impact
assessment. Members will explore how equality impact assessments can be
used as a tool to promote equality in public sector organisations by discussing
matters such as the EqIA process, socially inclusive consultation, accessible
design and workforce diversity.
Members and guests will be drawn from government departments, local authorities, public sector agencies, non governmental organisations with a focus on equality, major projects, academics, specialists, service providers, commercial consultancies, press and media.
